Sipsmith have teamed up with Kettner’s in Soho to present the 100 Martini Bar, bringing to life 100 Martini recipes both classic and somewhat forgotten. The event is promising to be an enlightening experience and will have something to offer connoisseurs, discerning drinkers and newcomers alike.
Jared Brown, Sipsmith’s Master Distiller and renowned spirits historian, has carefully curated the menu – a journey of celebration and discovery as far as the Martini goes. This will be the first time that 100 different and timeless variations of that delectable drop will be available to order from one bar.
Adding a little mystery…guests will arrive via a discrete back entrance on Greek Street (it’ll be marked with a swan) and delve into the interactive menu to unearth their perfectly chosen martin.
Kettner’s staff of expert bartenders will create the desired concoction at the table with the aid of a roving drinks trolley while guests sit back, enraptured as the history of the drink is recounted. The whole experience will be amplified by the ambiance and charm of Kettner’s private rooms, rich in oak panelling and history alike.
The 100 Martini Bar will run from Wednesdays to Friday for a three-week period and come to a magnificent close on Saturday the 12th of April. Each 90-minute session will be by reservation only and cost £12 per ticket – which includes a Martini of your choice. Additional drinks can be purchased on the night.
