Discover the art of Japanese Whisky at The London Restaurant Festival this month! The festival will reveal a wealth of new experiences, taking place from 8th – 27th October. Londoners will encounter a new drinks trend, as Suntory Japanese Whisky invites you to join them on a JAPANESE JOURNEY across London!
As part of their partnership with the London Restaurant Festival, Suntory will guide restaurant-hoppers around some of the capital’s finest Japanese restaurants, pairing each dish with a Suntory Whisky highball. Suntory Japanese whisky is designed to retain its unique flavour profile when mixed with water. The Hakushu or Yamazaki Highball cocktail is a refreshing blend of whisky, soda and ice, make it the perfect accompaniment to Japanese cuisine.
The Japanese Journey will take place in partnership with six of London’s most exquisite Japanese
restaurants: Kurobuta Marble Arch, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi, Shoryu Soho, Tonkotsu Soho, Kanada-Ya and
It’s a case of catch me if you can between 12-6pm! Each restaurant will be serving a selection of Japanese cuisine including sushi, ramen and Izakaya style dishes, the partners will provide a veritable feast of Japanese food and drink guiding your palette into a unique realm. Via a 2.5 mile route around central London, the Japanese Journey will let your senses take you 5,936 miles to the buzzing streets of Tokyo.
In Japan, whisky highballs replace wine at many meals. With the Japanese Journey, Suntory hope to build a bridge to the East, allowing Londoners to experience authentic Japanese cuisine and culture, and be instrumental in leading the new whisky highball drink trend in the UK.
