Inspired by the Italian piazza, the centre of every great Italian city, Peroni Nastro Azzurro has been bringing a taste of Italy with House of Peroni to Brick Lane these past few weeks.
The Residency brings together a new generation of creative talent from the worlds of Italian food, drink, fashion, art and design. These include Michelin starred chef, Accursio Craparo who has been offering Londoners a transformative six-course private dining experience – temporarily leaving his restaurant in Sicily to make his debut on the London food scene.
Also featuring at the Residency is the award-winning, Italian, molecular mixologist, Simone Caporale (Assistant Head Bartender at The Artesian Bar at The Langham Hotel) his exciting array of cocktail infusions have been enticing drink enthusiasts to exciting concoctions across four stunning bars.
We’ve been hearing about this wonderful addition to East and are looking forward to making the trip ahead of closing (open until 10th June). The draw; a beautiful garden, a schedule of events ranging from an outdoor silent cinema showcasing Italian contemporary classics, a duo of street food traders on Friday’s, a granita bar on Thursday’s and a molecular mixology masterclass led by Simone himself – there’s literally something for everyone! We’re especially intrigued by ‘antagonist to the Bloody Mary’.
House of Peroni unfortunately closes next week so make sure you pop in before it does – we know we will and cannot wait!!
Open 14th May – 10th June: Tuesday to Friday, 5pm to 12 midnight, Saturday and Sunday, 12 noon to 12 midnight
No admission fee. 18+ only
