It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere we go…
As we enter December, what better way to start kick start festive season than by taking a trip to a beautiful London landmark for some ice skating!
There’s few breathtaking backdrops for ice skating and the Natural History Museum is certainly one of them. The now famous ice rink returns returns this winter for it’s tenth year and to make this year extremely special, they have partnered with Lindt Master Chocolatiers with an interactive Christmas chalet bringing to life the delicious Lindt Bear and other Christmas chocolate favourites. The chalet will delight both the young and the young at heart, with complimentary truffles to sample and a variety of festive activities to capture those special Christmas moments. There’s also delicious hot chocolate to warm us up pre or post skating – who can resist!!
For those who have accompanied loved ones but aren’t brave enough to give it a go, there’s a lovely cafe to keep warm and sit and enjoy mulled wine whilst still being able to watch the action unfold beneath you.
We wish we could say we glide on ice like swans but sadly that is not the case, as much as we love getting our skate on, we look more like Bambi on ice than we’d like. Still it’s fast becoming a annual tradition and something we hope to continue for years to come.
