If you’re still mourning the end of Street Feast, Dalston Yard, fear not, the team behind the biggest street food event of the summer is back on Friday November 8th with Hawker House, a warm indoor haven for lovers of great booze, food and music…whatever the weather.
Every Friday and Saturday until December 14th, Hawker House will offer a late night eating emporium sandwiched between Broadway Market and Hackney Road, with traders offering succulent steaming street food from 5pm and a line up of the capital’s best DJs playing ‘til 2am.
Making sure you’re warmed through from the inside out, the Hot Bar will be serving up unique takes on seasonal favourites like Hot Buttered Rum, Hot Wine and the Hawker Hot Chocolate laced with cognac and green chartreuse. The team over at Hawker House are also giving a free Hot Shot to everyone arriving after 8pm with their £3 entry fee; a hot toddy shot to give a quick fix as you come in from the cold.
Throughout the six week run, Hawker House will be hosting some of London’s best street food traders, chefs and restaurants. The charming red & white VW of B.O.B.’s Lobster will be serving up lobster treats aplenty, SmokeStak’s 4.5 tonne smoker will be supplying perfectly smoked beef and pork ribs, as well as warm puds and ice creams on offer from Sorbitium’s Sweet Station.
