Luxury bespoke dining company Cuisson in association with Laurent-Perrier is bringing their latest gastronomic event to the famous Burlington Arcade with a one-of-a-kind pop-up afternoon tea. Cuisson are currently offering a modern interpretation on afternoon tea and turning this classic British custom on its head for an exceptional and memorable dining experience until the end of June.
The afternoon tea itself is served on quaint Wedgwood china and paired with the Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, perfect for the spring months – adding an extra dose of playful luxury and decadence to the event.
Pastry chef Hideko Kawa (previously at The Fat Duck) has carefully crafted the afternoon tea menu alongside Cuisson, and combined cutting edge food in a truly unique and historical setting, the pop up is inventive and beautiful, giving afternoon tea a contemporary makeover. The delicious selection includes, scones, champagne and strawberry trifle, macarons, and some interesting sarnies.
Currently there’s also a lovely cake displayed in the window to celebrate the new Royal baby – so watch out for that.
The afternoon tea is only around for a limited period from Wednesday 8th April 2015 – Friday 26th June 2015, so hurry! Tickets are priced from £45-£65p/p
